I have not yet pushed to its limits (programs open at once : Firefox (with a dozen tabs, including one with the streaming) + Word + Excel + Paint) but for now I do constant any noise related to the fan : they are not heard or hardly, even in a quiet environment. Its small flaws : it heats up a little below to the right and in the middle of a heat wave, therefore, it is not possible at all to use it on the knees. For the default, the wifi disconnects from time to time, I've found, but hey, it takes 5 seconds to reconnect, so not in death, not more. Otherwise, as on many laptops, the sound is not terrible. Moreover, I had never used Windows 8. 1 and I had a huge a priori, finally I found a desktop like on Windows 7, I never use it page icons useless Windows 8, nothing traumatic. The plus : Very good battery life, screen bright enough, The least : its a little too low, and especially the processor is a little slow, better a acer with a Tegra that will respond better and will be more tempered (in the chromebooks available in France and this size of screen)..
